Session Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  1. Describe the role of the gut microbiota and the therapeutic rationale behind FMT.
  2. Summarize current FDA approved microbiome therapies and their key clinical data.
  3. Assess responsibilities in handling, counseling, and monitoring patients receiving microbiome therapies.
  4. Discuss emerging microbiome therapies and their implications for clinical practice.

  1. Apply the current standards for outpatient antimicrobial stewardship practice when solving complex patient or system challenges and improving antibiotic prescribing in ambulatory care settings.

Please note that this series is accredited for continuing pharmacy education via ACPE as a "regularly scheduled series".  Each session within the series will appear on your CPE Monitor with the same title and Universal Activity Number (UAN); however, you may attend and claim credit for all individual sessions within the series.
