Target Audience: 
Physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with special interest in antimicrobial stewardship.
 

Session Learning Objectives:
  1. Review provider prescribing patterns before and after results of GPP for bacteria and parasites.
  2. Review literature on antibiotic and antiparasitic indications in the setting of infectious diarrhea.
  3. Discuss development of institution specific interventions such as microbiology nudges and guidelines.

Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
  1. Apply the current standards for inpatient antimicrobial stewardship practice when solving complex patient or system challenges and improving antibiotic prescribing in ambulatory care settings.

Requirements for CE Credit

Participants must login to the teleconference to view presentation, participate in any interactivity and note session code provided at the end of the presentation. 
 
To claim credit for this activity, participants must complete the online program evaluation and their accounts must properly reflect their month/day of birth and their correct NABP e-Profile ID.  To register with NABP or look up your NABP e-Profile ID, please click on the CPE Monitor logo below to be directed to their site.
 
Credit that is claimed greater than 60 days from the date of the program will be automatically rejected by the CPE Monitor.  Claiming credit within 30 days of the live program will ensure that any issues with transmission to the CPE Monitor can be rectified in advance of the 60-day deadline.  If you would like a paper statement of credit, you may print an individual statement or a transcript from your NABP e-Profile.
