LOCATION:  The Piedmont Club, 361 E. Main St., Spartanburg, South Carolina 29302
 
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This one day program will feature speakers with various expertise on some healthcare issues. Topics to be presented are: Trans Venous Left Atrial Occlusion, Drug-Induced Delirium, Male Genito-Urinary Cases, Sepsis and Being Mortal.  The goal of this program is to provide nurses, pharmacists, and other interested healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools to assist them in providing quality care to their patients/clients. 
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of the program, the pharmacist will be able to: 
  1. Discuss the prevention, management, and complications of transvenous left atrial occlusion.
  2. Explain the medical management of male genitourinary issues.
  3. Describe the multidisciplinary management of drug-induced delirium.
  4. Evaluate updates in the management of sepsis.
  5. Identify trends and issues in healthcare in relation to mortality.

Requirements for CE Credit

Participants must sign in upon arrival and have attendance verified.
 
To claim credit for this activity, participants must complete an online program evaluation and must update their accounts to properly reflect their month and day of birth and their correct NABP E-Id.  Registration with a proper disclosure of your NABP E-Id is a requirement for receiving Continuing Pharmacy Education.  To register with or look up your NABP E-Id, please click on the CPE Monitor logo below to be directed to their site.  Completion of this process within 30 days will ensure transmission of credit.  Any credit claimed greater than 60 days following the conference will not be accepted by the NABP CPE Monitor.  If you would like a paper statement of credit, you may print an individual statement or a transcript from your NABP e-profile.
