2021 Controlled Substance CE Option - Easing the Pain of Opioid Prescribing (P/T) - UofSC College of Pharmacy Continuing Education

Educational Objectives:

After completing this program, the pharmacist and pharmacy technician will be able to:

Describe best practices for opioid prescribing in the outpatient setting
Review cases for patients on opioids in the outpatient primary care setting
Discuss alternative medications for pain

Credit Hours Available: The program is accredited for 1.0 home study hours (0.10 CEUs). The video presentation is 46 minutes long, and there is a required 10 question post-test after the recording has been viewed.

How to Earn Credit: Participants must 1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures, 2) listen to the video presentation and the interactivity, and 3) complete the posttest with a score of at least 70% and the evaluation form. To receive credit, you must provide your date of birth and NABP number. CE credit will be submitted to the NABP CE Monitor.
