Pharmacy Law: Safe Disposal of Medications (10:10am - 11:10am)

  1. Discuss the environmental impact of improper medication disposal
  2. Recommend appropriate strategies for safe disposal of medications based on the type of medication
  3. Summarize legal requirements of the DEA's Drug Disposal Act
 
Over-the-Counter Options for Pain (11:15 am - 12:15 pm)

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  1. Identify patients with pain that are candidates for self-treatment
  2. Compare OTC treatment options including non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic products
  3. Identify red flags in pain management that warrant referral to a primary care or urgent care provider
 
Managing Our Time: Improving Presence & Productivity (12:15pm - 1:15 pm)

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  1. Analyze your daily schedule
  2. Identify opportunities in all models, including focus, task, social, connection and recharge
  3. Set a goal to build margin to your daily schedule

Requirements for CE Credit

To claim credit, participants must sign-in at the beginning of the session and attend the entire session.  No partial credit will be issued.  Participants must complete an online evaluation within 30 days (providing their correct NABP e-profile number and day/month of birth) in order to ensure credit is reported to the NABP CPE Monitor.  Any credit claimed greater than 60 days from the date of the program will not be accepted by the NABP CPE Monitor.
