STATE AND NATIONAL HOT TOPICS IN PHARMACY REGULATION

Target Audience: Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
Fee: $15 for non-MUSC employees and no charge for MUSC employees (see manager for a coupon code)
 
Learning Objectives:
At the completion of this activity, the pharmacist and pharmacy technician will be able to:
1. Describe the regulatory structure of pharmacy in South Carolina.
2. Discuss recent and ongoing initiatives of the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
3. List leading trends in pharmacy regulations in other states.
4. Identify national and federal initiatives and how they may impact practice at the local and state level.
5. Describe upcoming compliance challenges.
 
Registrations excepted until full. 
 
Cancellation and Refund Policy:  Cancellations received before October 17, 2016 will receive a full refund less a 5% cancellation fee.  After October 17, 2016, no refunds will be given.  SCCP reserves the right to cancel the entire program.  In the event of a SCCP cancelled program, a full refund will be issued.

Participants must check in with the front desk upon arrival and have attendance verified.
 
To claim credit for this activity, participants must complete an online program evaluation and must update their accounts to properly reflect their month and day of birth and their correct NABP E-Id.  Registration with a proper disclosure of your NABP E-Id is a requirement for receiving Continuing Pharmacy Education.  To register with or look up your NABP E-Id, please click on the CPE Monitor logo below to be directed to their site.  Failure to follow this process within the required timeframe will result in loss of credit.  If you would like a paper statement of credit, you may print an individual statement or a transcript from your NABP e-profile.
