To be eligible for the program, you must be an active SCCP preceptor and have actively participated in student rotations in the last three years. New preceptors who have provided rotation availability for next year are welcome!

1. Explain new developments in the Colleges of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Education.
2. Describe the impact of ACPE standards and guidelines related to rotation syllabi development.
3. Discuss best practices for incorporating students into your daily practice.
4. Identify new learning activities to incorporate into your rotation syllabus.
5. Create/Update rotation-specific syllabi to meet accreditation standards.

Discuss the FDA warnings and label changes that relate to medication safety and how this information should be applied in the selection and monitoring of evidence-based pharmacotherapy to achieve better patient related outcomes.
Describe the current information concerning newly FDA approved medications (pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, efficacy and safety data, drug interactions, dosing, monitoring and cost) in the selection of evidence-based pharmacotherapy.
Compare and contract these selected newer agents to the existing therapies and be able to recommend an appropriate medication regimen for a specific patient
